Day Six : Kyoto [Arashiyama - Nishiki Market] to Hiroshima [Okonomiura]

Last day in Kyoto, feel sad? Yes.. Because, when I planned to Japan, the Kyoto's had many temples. Thinking, it must be boring here. Nooo, I was wrong. Kyoto is calm city with nice old school view from Japan. My heart left for this city because I was happy to see old traditional style building. Today, I was planning to Arashiyama bamboo forest. Many beautiful picture came from this place. From the Kyoto station to Arashiyama station by subway, just walking to the forest. It took 20 minutes to reach this place. No worries, along the way, you could see beautiful traditional Japan's house and old city. You could see my pictures and after you entered the gate, all your eyes filled with green bamboo in the great height.

Hungry came yeahh, because we didn't have proper breakfast because we woke up so early to Arashiyama. Our last destination in Kyoto was Nishiki 'Traditional Japan' Market. The market was really big and sold everything that you want. Food, flower, medicine, and daily need. After you took subway to Nishiki, you entered basement department store which sold many food bento or other else. Japan's food was really attractive in packaging and complete with calories too. Exit the department, you turn right and found Nishiki gate. Just follow the street and your eyes could dance to the left and right because there're many interesting object to see. First, I tried to buy their fresh sashimi in stick. You could choose with salmon/tuna/other fish. Don't forget to try their famous egg roll. The taste was really soft, sweet, and unique taste. Just try!! Last meal, I tried grilled Japan lidako (small octopus) contained with egg. When, you finished the street, you could walk in this area and saw bookstore, jewelry shop, game center, and many more.

Okay, enough for food. Time to moved new city. Next is Hiroshima. What do you think when you heard this name? Atomic bomb city? Scary building? Radiation. Well, let's we prove our curiosity. Yeah, other four hours in comfort shinkansen. We took two times shinkansen to reach Hiroshima station and took subway to our hostel, Miyajima backpacker. Why we chose this hostel? Because it's very near to our morning destination is  Miyajima Island. Different in Tokyo, Hiroshima was a calm city, not very crowded of people. Our hostel was very nice and put our bagage, then we searched for dinner quickly. LOL!! The main transportation in Hiroshima was trem. Don't forget to get their map to get the right trem in the city. Beside that, Hiroshima was a famous place to get okonomiyaki. Their's menu was different to other because, it added with noodle. I searched the Hiroshima's style okonomiyaki then found Okonomiura. What it is? It is a building in Hiroshima, which sold okonomiyaki. Don't confused because there's a yellow sign named it in your right.

The building has 4 floor and many places sold okonomiyaki. Just chose one, I've ever read Shinchan okonomiyaki in the Hiroshima's page was famous. Just drop by, to get udon pork okonomiyaki and beer = Perfecto!!

Don't droll too much! hahaha. Tomorrow, let we take a walk in this city to prove our curiosity. Oh ya, I recommended you to took a rest in Miyajima Backpacker so you can walk in ten minutes to get the harbour. Beside that, the sky on the city never be wrong. I bet you would bear the breath when saw the clear night sky and moon in there. =p
